Job Description

The Game Designer is responsible for preparing the detailed architecture of the game consisting of details of game architecture, level designing, point structures and gameplay details.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Build unique gameplay experience
  • Conceptualize games and build entire games architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Evaluate prototypes and their performance
  • Modify game designed based on technical as well as production constraints
  • Create and maintain GDD to guide cross functional teams
  • Puts appropriate sketches/references for design/UI team
  • Build strong monetisation strategies
  • Participate in finding solutions to fix buggy features

Essential Skills / Qualifications

  • Creative and future focused mindset
  • A solid understanding of the gaming market and cheer passion for video games
  • Strong knowledge of monetization and game economy
  • Firm knowledge of idle game logics, hyper casual game mechanics and current trending games
  • Able to work in collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Able to communicate your vision to other stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Sharp knowledge of various game types, platforms and technologies
  • Experience of working with game engines and productivity softwares such as word and spreadsheets etc.
  • It would be considered plus point for having a knowledge in AR & VR Games

Software Skills

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Basic Knowledge of Unity3D
  • Adobe Illustrator (optional)
  • Good grip on Wacom

  • Must have experience of commercial game production
  • Passion for video games
  • A well written and well formatted CV with all critical information
